About this Event
Join us for a hands-on Claude AI masterclass for fractional CFOs, finance directors, financial controllers, FP&A professionals, finance managers and management accountants. This is not a lecture. It is a working morning with a practising CFO, producing real finance output.
Together, we will build an AI agent inside Claude that takes a two-entity group from trial balance to financial statements, a group consolidation, a management pack and a board-ready dashboard. Every step is done live, and you leave with the method behind it: the one I use on work I sign.

What you will learn
- How to build an AI agent for finance work using a Claude Project
- How to combine context, project instructions and Skills to get output you would put your name on
- How to control hallucination, so what comes back is grounded in your data and can be checked
- How to choose the right model for each task, so you do not run out of usage in the middle of the work
- How to make the process repeatable, so it runs faster every time
The method
Decide what moves to Claude and what stays with you. Brief it properly. Review its work as you would a junior’s. Capture every correction, so Claude does not repeat it.
How the session runs
Up to 20 people, one dataset, one build, produced together. The data is realistic which we will provide but nothing is confidential, and you bring nothing from your employer. Everyone builds the same thing, then compares it against the reference output. Where yours differs, that is the lesson.
What you leave with
- A Project and Skills you built yourself, ready to adapt for your real work
- A consolidation, a management pack and a board dashboard, with the prompts that built them
- The security settings and model choices we use
- 14 days of access to the workshop site, with every prompt, the dataset and the reference outputs
- A detailed walkthrough after the session, and a 3-hour CPD certificate issued by AIFC
Coffee, tea and a light breakfast are provided. An invoice is available for employer expensing.

Finance professionals who want to use Claude to work far more productively, and to have it produce real finance work to a standard a CFO would sign. The masterclass is designed for fractional CFOs and CFOs, finance directors, financial controllers, FP&A professionals, management accountants and others in similar roles.
What you need to bring
- Your laptop and charger
- A paid Claude plan, with Claude Cowork set up before the session. If you run into issues, email [email protected] after booking
- Enough usage left on your plan. Please check you have not reached your weekly limit, as the build uses Claude continuously for three hours

9:30 to 10:45 | Module 1: Setting up Claude and the financial statements
How Projects, project instructions and context work, how to connect your own files such as SharePoint or a drive, and when to use Claude chat or Cowork, applied live as we produce financial statements for both entities.
10:45 to 11:45 | Module 2: Group consolidation and management pack
Consolidate both entities into a group position with intercompany eliminations, then build the management pack from the group results.
11:45 to 12:30 | Module 3: Board dashboard and your own voice
Turn the pack into an interactive dashboard for a board, and create a Skill that writes commentary in your own voice.
12:30 to 13:00 | Q&A and close
Your questions, and how to take the method into your own work. The session finishes by 13:00.
