A practical, hands-on workshop to build a delicious breakfast that supports steady energy, mood, gut and hormone health.
About this Event

Open to women only

Join Cecilia and Marjolein for a practical, hands-on workshop showing you how to make breakfast both balanced and genuinely enjoyable.

Marjolein will introduce a simple formula built around three groups - protein, fibre and polyphenols - and explain how each can support steady energy, mood, gut and hormone health. Cecilia will then use her Le Cordon Bleu training to demonstrate one adaptable breakfast recipe, explore satisfying flavour and texture combinations, and lead a tasting of Cecii's award-winning fermented shots.

Working in small groups, you will choose from prepared ingredients to build your own breakfast, identify its three building blocks and explain your flavour choices. You will leave with a flexible formula and practical flavour ideas you can adapt to the breakfasts you already enjoy.

Paid ticket holders will receive a free gym pass at the event for a future workout session at our women‑only gym.

Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase before the show.

Here We Glow: Navigating menopause through community and wellbeing

The Bridge is hosting Here We Glow, a six-month programme supporting women through perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause with information, wellbeing and community.

Every woman experiences menopause differently, but no one should have to navigate it alone. Through a diverse programme of expert talks, comedy, workshops, movement and wellbeing sessions, Here We Glow creates space to learn, share experiences, connect with others and feel more confident through change.

Whether you're looking for trusted information, practical ways to support your wellbeing, a chance to move and laugh, or simply to meet women who get it, there's a place for you here.

About The Bridge

For 94 years The Bridge has been a welcoming space where women come together to prioritise health and wellbeing, support one another through life’s stages and challenge what holds them back. Based in the heart of Southwark, we run a rich programme of fitness, wellbeing and community activities designed for women.

Our women only gym and studio offer a wide range of equipment and classes, from pilates to strength training and targeted hormonal health sessions, all led by skilled, compassionate instructors who put strength, balance and confidence first. Our specialist progjects range from a diverse menopause programme, monthly supper clubs, creative health activities and our Friday mums programme to name just a few.

We offer versatile spaces for partnerships, projects and hire, including meeting rooms, our multi use studio, a warm cafe environment that can be configured for semiprivate or fully private meetings, birthday parties, dinners, gigs, Christmas parties and more, plus a garden and a kitchen. Everything you need to run workshops, launches, team days, clinics or supper events.

The Bridge continues to grow as a space where women can show up as you are, connect with others and discover what becomes possible when women have space to belong.

How to contribute

At The Bridge, we’re all about working together and building meaningful partnerships with the women in our community. We believe that everyone has something valuable to offer, and that means everyone has a role in shaping our work-because The Bridge belongs to all of us. We celebrate each person’s unique strengths and contributions, creating opportunities for everyone to get involved in a way that feels right for them.

Whether you give your time, skills, or financial support, every contribution means we’re working together to make The Bridge the space we want it to be.

If you’d like to share your time or skills, please visit our volunteer page for more information on how you can get involved. You can also reach out to us directly at [email protected].
