About this Event
Born from the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Art Therapy program at Princess Margaret, this second annual showcase brings forward works that are both therapeutic and artistic. At the heart of this evening is patient-created art; deeply personal pieces that channel healing into creative expression.
Admission is free. Funded by the generosity of Alli's Journey donors like you, the program culminates in this evening – the centrepiece of our , as we target raising $30,000 to provide Comfort Bags for patients starting treatment and sustain the Art Therapy program.
Over eight weeks, young adults navigating life after cancer treatment explored artmaking as a way of listening inward, expressing what words can't hold, and connecting through shared experiences. Each creative process unfolded differently; some through experimentation, others through reflection or release.
Join us for a relaxed, gallery-style evening where, for one night, participants step forward not as patients, but as artists, sharing their creativity and stories with the community: expressions of transition, renewal, and the search for meaning and connection after illness. Wander the gallery, enjoy light refreshments, and meet the artists themselves.
Can't join us in person? You can still support the program from wherever you are.
