About this Event
Women's Health Spotlight brings together residents, health professionals, voluntary sector organisations and community groups to create a welcoming space where women can access information, support, and practical resources to help them live healthy, safe and fulfilling lives.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees will have the opportunity to visit a range of community stalls and engage with local services covering a variety of topics relating to women's physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Topics and services represented may include:
- Midwifery and maternity services
- Sexual health and reproductive wellbeing
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Drug and alcohol services
- Community health and wellbeing resources
- Local support organisations and community groups
Whether you are looking for information, support, connections within your community, or simply an opportunity to learn more about services available in Brent, this event offers something for everyone. The afternoon will conclude with an engaging performance celebrating women's strength, resilience, and empowerment.
Some discussions and information shared during the event may touch on sensitive topics, including domestic abuse, sexual violence, and other forms of violence against women and girls. Attendees may find some content distressing. We encourage attendees to consider their wellbeing when deciding to attend and to take breaks as needed during the event.
