Looking for women in Toronto’s creative industry who just get it?

Join The Galhood for an intimate afternoon of conversation, connection, and community with women working across Toronto’s creative industries.

Whether you’re a designer, writer, marketer, photographer, content creator, PR professional, social media manager, filmmaker, entrepreneur, freelancer, or work somewhere in between, this is a space to meet other women navigating the creative world.

There are no panels, presentations, or awkward networking games. Instead, we’re creating a small, relaxed roundtable where you can talk honestly, share experiences, ask questions, and make connections that go beyond exchanging LinkedIn profiles.

We’ll talk about the things that don’t always make it onto your portfolio or resume, including:

• Finding and building your creative community
• Navigating clients, colleagues, and creative partnerships
• Pricing your work and knowing your value
• Freelancing and building your own business
• Creative burnout and maintaining boundaries
• Figuring out your next career move
• Building a career that actually feels like yours
• The highs, lows, and realities of working in a creative industry

The conversation will be facilitated by Parul Yadav, co-founder of The Galhood and founder of North Wave Media, with the goal of creating a space that feels warm, candid, inclusive, and genuinely useful.

The Galhood events are designed to feel more like a room full of people you actually want to talk to than a traditional networking event.
