Arts & Parts & Charts: The Sun and The Moon
An Experiential Workshop in Astrology, Active Imagination, and Art-Making
Sunday, June 21 — Solstice Weekend
3 hours • Birdhouse Gallery
2548 Judah (31st & Judah), San Francisco
With Chelsea Owens & KP Kaszubowski

Your Sun and your Moon are not personality traits. They are figures inside of you and the have faces, postures, voices. They have been with you your whole life, and most of us have never actually met them. This workshop is an invitation to do exactly that. But make it fun, by making art with good company.
Over three hours on the longest day of the year, we'll move through:
— We ground. A short, plain-language look at what the Sun and Moon actually are in your chart. No prior astrology knowledge required — we start from zero.
— You meet them. A guided group meditation, using active imagination, where you encounter your Sun figure and your Moon figure directly. Not a concept. A presence.
— You make. An open studio session where you render what you met — in watercolor, in collage, on the page. All materials provided.
You'll leave with two pieces of art, a notebook full of contact, and a different relationship to the two most important bodies in your chart.
This is the IRL version of the work we do every week on the Parts & Charts podcast. Chelsea brings the depth-psychological grounding. KP brings the chart. You bring whatever you're carrying.
