About this Event
Why can doing nothing feel more uncomfortable than exhaustion?
Maybe you’ve learned to keep going even when your body is asking you to slow down.
To remain capable. Available. Grateful. Strong.
To question whether you’re really tired enough to rest, whether your needs are reasonable, or whether setting a limit will disappoint someone.
THE SCIENCE & SPIRIT OF SELF-TRUST is a one-time embodied group psychoeducational experience created exclusively for racialized women.
Through gentle yoga, breathwork, meditation and guided reflection, you’ll be invited to:
• Notice the signals you may have learned to override
• Reconnect with your needs and limits
• Practise pausing without having to justify it
• Strengthen trust in your own inner knowing
• Choose what support and restoration look like for you
This is not another space asking you to become better at enduring too much. It is an invitation to listen inward, and remember that your needs are meaningful information.
No previous yoga experience is required. Every practice is invitational, and yoga mats and props will be provided.
