Step into a bygone era and take your seat at the 18th-century table of Malahide Castle. You are cordially invited to join the triumphant Hunt Party as they return to the castle a night of fine spirits, soaring music, and historical mystery.
A Grand Welcome
Your journey begins at the castle gates, where you are greeted by majestic Irish Wolfhounds, a living symbol of our heritage. Sip on a crisp fine whiskey soda and let the ethereal melodies of the Irish Harp transport you back in time before the evening’s festivities truly begin.
Your “Social Passport”
Upon entry, the “Who’s Who” of the 18th century comes to life – and you are one of them. Every guest receives a Social Passport assigning them a unique persona and a secret social objective for the night.
Get Cosy & Have the Chats!
This is a truly convivial event. We want you talking, laughing, and debating with your tablemates. This is a unique night out designed to break the ice; we want you leaving as friends with your neighbour after a night of shared secrets and stories. At the very least in supremely good spirits as you depart!
Mystery Under the Plate
The intrigue doesn’t stop at the introductions. Keep a sharp eye on your table setting! Throughout your sumptuous four-course meal, clues will appear in the most unexpected places.
- Find a dusty legal seal hidden under a plate…
- Discover a cryptic sketch tucked into a linen napkin…
- Decipher a “Secret Special” menu written in Italian…
You may even need to bribe our drunken butler to translate a clue or unlock a hidden glass of Limoncello!
The Prop Trunk & Dress Up
To truly inhabit your role, visit our Prop Trunk at the start of the night. Whether you fancy a pocket watch, a feather boa, a walking stick, or even a dapper moustache, we have everything you need to look the part.
