IndEx 2026

IndEx 2026 (Industry Exchange Day) is the flagship networking and collaboration event for Construct Innovate, Ireland’s National Centre for Construction Innovation. Following the success of the Athlone event, the 2026 edition moves to the capital to bring together industry leaders, academic researchers, and policymakers.

Purpose: To foster an atmosphere of trust and collaboration among members, ensuring the Centre’s research programme remains industry-led while providing direct access to funding and innovation supports.

Continuing the established series format, IndEx Dublin will feature three core pillars designed to accelerate innovation in the Irish construction sector:

1. Talent Support & Funding Opportunities The morning session will provide critical updates on available supports for member companies. Expected topics include:

• Updates on the Construct Innovate Seed Fund for industry-led research.
• Briefings from Enterprise Ireland on innovation grants and R&D tax credits.
• Information on the Work Ready Graduate Programme, helping companies recruit high-calibre talent with specialised RD&I skills.

2. Innovation in Action: Research Presentations Attendees will hear firsthand from ongoing Seed Fund project teams. These "lightning talks" showcase real-world applications.

3. Interactive "Challenge Question" Workshops The heart of the IndEx event is the workshop series. Participants will brainstorm solutions to industry-defined challenges.

IndEx is primarily designed for Associate and Patron Members of Construct Innovate, including:

• Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and developers.
• Architects, structural engineers, and consultants.
• Technology providers and manufacturing specialists.
• Academic researchers looking to translate their work into industry-ready solutions.
