Spotlighting Extraordinary Impact.
About this Event
✨ THE TEYC SPOTLIGHT 2026
The TEYC Spotlight 2026 is an end-of-year celebration created to bring Black youth, families and communities together for a day of connection, culture, fun and recognition.
It’s a celebration of the different journeys, talents, achievements and contributions of Black youth in our communities.
Expect a vibrant experience with entertainment, food, interactive activities, networking, gifts for participants, and plenty of opportunities to meet new people and celebrate together.
As part of the event, we’ll also have a special Spotlight Awards moment recognizing young people making an impact through leadership, entrepreneurship and creativity.
Who can participate?
✨ Black youth ages 12 and up in Toronto
✨ You do not need to be an award nominee or finalist to attend
Whether you’re being recognized or simply coming to enjoy the experience, there’s a place for you in the Spotlight.
