Join us for an intimate screening session featuring two powerful, community-led creative projects.
Deborah MacArthur presents the New in NL documentary from the REALITIES North Lanarkshire Hub. The film gives insight into the Creative Hub sessions delivered with Asylum Seekers and Economic Migrants across the authority in 2025 and highlights the challenges and success of using creative activity as an engagement tool.
Alongside this, community researcher Shona Ulrichsen and Creative Arts Officer Nicole McManus share Blobland, an animation co-produced with young people and Braw Talent, offering thoughtful and relatable reflections on gender norms drawn from lived experience.
This one-hour session will feature short introductions, screenings, and the opportunity for a shared discussion or Q&A, providing an engaging and personal space to connect with the stories behind the work.
This session will take place in the Baillie Room.
