Building Masculine Strength Through Connection and ChoiceAbout this Event
What does it mean to be a man when traditional expectations no longer fit? This interactive workshop invites people connected to masculinity to examine the messages they have received about strength, sex, vulnerability, dominance, emotional control and relationships. We will explore the various definitions of masculinity and the associated values and unspoken expectations that may be limiting your relationships. The class explores how emotional awareness, accountability, consent, adaptability and vulnerability can complement personal strength. Through guided reflection and group discussion, you will begin developing a more intentional version of masculinity that supports satisfying relationships, authentic sexuality and greater freedom from shame or performance pressure.
