Eli, 12 ans, doit prendre soin de sa maman, qui traverse de nouveau une période de « tristesse ». En plein confinement, elle demande l’aide de sa voisine Madame Jean. Ensemble, elles affrontent l’école en ligne, les défis du quotidien et apprennent à compter les unes sur les autres.

Discover Prendre soin de Mom by Djennie Laguerre, a story told from a child’s point of view about family, helping one another and getting through difficult times.
Twelve-year-old Eli finds herself caring for her maman, who is going through her “sadness” again. During a pandemic lockdown, she turns to her elderly neighbour Madame Jean for help. Together, they navigate online school, everyday challenges and a friendship across generations.
