Pocket Con 2026: Celebrating 15 Years of Comics, Culture & CommunityJoin us for the 15th Anniversary of Pocket Con, Chicago’s free comic book convention celebrating the characters, creators, stories, and communities that make comics so powerful!
For 15 years, Pocket Con has created a space where young people, families, artists, writers, educators, comic fans, and first-time convention-goers can come together to celebrate comics and popular culture. The convention shines a special spotlight on Black creators and characters, while also celebrating women, Latine creators, LGBTQIA+ creators, and other voices that have historically been underrepresented in the comic book industry.
This year’s celebration will feature comic creators, artists, authors, vendors, workshops, panel discussions, demonstrations, gaming, performances, and activities for youth and families. Whether you're a longtime comic fan or discovering Pocket Con for the first time, there will be something for everyone.
Pocket Con is more than a convention; it’s an opportunity to see yourself represented, discover new stories, meet the people who create them, and imagine what’s possible when creativity and community come together.
Best of all, Pocket Con is FREE and open to the public!
Come celebrate 15 years of comics, creativity, representation, and community with us!
Pocket Con 2026
