Professor Schaefer will be speaking about current and future potential in neurotech. He is a leading figure in this space as the co-founder of the BCI company Paradromics, who are developing real-time speech decoding technology. And in his role as Principal Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute, he has worked on implementing Neuropixels probes in human patients, and on characterising olfactory circuits in mice.
This event will be a a short talk, followed by snacks, drinks and plenty of discussion with our speaker and other attendees. Expect to meet like-minded early career researchers and learn more about this exciting technology.
