About this Event
From Starting a Charity to Chasing the Olympics
How we did it, who helped us, and how you can get started too
We are pleased to welcome Pragnya and Prateek Mohan, two siblings with a story to share.
Pragnya is a triathlon champion, a Commonwealth Games competitor and the first Indian triathlete to compete at a World Cup. Also, a Chartered Accountant and IOC Young Leader, she is now working towards the 2028 Olympics, with her family supporting her along the way.
Prateek led the volunteer team at the 2022 World Chess Olympiad and has spoken at the UN climate conference, COP29. He finished 20th at the 2025 Microsoft Excel Collegiate Challenge in Las Vegas and 8th at its 2026 European Open in Amsterdam. He is also the founder and manager of India Mafia Club, a social deduction intellectual sports club in Ahmedabad.
Together, they are building Ek Beti, Ek Cycle, an initiative supported by the International Olympic Committee that has helped over 1,000 girls in India continue their education by providing refurbished bicycles.
They will share their own experiences from their own perspectives, of pursuing sport, supporting each other and starting a charity. How did they get started? Who helped them? How do they raise money? How do they deal with practical and legal challenges? And how could you get something you care about off the ground?
Whatever you study, whatever you teach, you are welcome to join us and ask questions.
