AYANNA LATE LUNCH WINDRUSH FOOD CULTURE CELEBRATION

Following the Summit, guests are invited to a special late-afternoon experience beginning with a guided tour of the Windrush Food Culture exhibition at the National Maritime Museum, followed by a celebratory late lunch at NWM partner restaurant Ayanna.

The programme brings together Caribbean culinary traditions, hospitality and the extraordinary stories of migration, identity and cultural exchange associated with Windrush food heritage.

Building on the success of the National Windrush Museum's Windrush Food Culture exhibition, the event will celebrate the people, ingredients, recipes, memories and businesses that have shaped Caribbean food culture in Britain.

The late lunch will provide an opportunity for informal discussion, networking and conversations with cultural partners, food innovators and special guests.

The programme will also look ahead to the Museum's developing food heritage initiatives, including Jamaica Food Island and Jamaica 65.

All bookings will include cost of transport to the restaurant.
