About this Event
A central goal of modern diversity and inclusion efforts is encouraging professionals to bring their authentic selves to work. But for women navigating traditionally male-dominated leadership spaces like tax, "just being ourselves" is rarely straightforward. Do we have to adapt our style to be heard, or can we truly "do it our way"? Do women bring something different to the leadership space, and if so, how can we make sure its benefits are recognised?
Inspired by Herminia Ibarra’s "Authenticity Paradox" and Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic’s book "Don't Be Yourself", our panellists will explore the tension between conforming to established leadership norms and forging an individual path.
Join us for an insightful panel discussion exploring how women in tax can strategically navigate expectations, maintain their integrity, and evolve their impact as leaders without losing their core identity. Our excellent panellists will be chaired by Ruth Punter, coach to individuals and teams, focusing on personal, professional and leadership development, and member of the Women in Tax Committee:
- Stefanie Tremain, Private Client Partner at Blick Rothenberg
- Winnie Cao, Global Mobility Partner at Blick Rothenberg
- Morag Ofili, Tax Partner (Risk & Disputes) at Edwin Coe
