About this Event
Tensions are high in town. Factions are growing, and the community's radio station is caught in the crossfire. Everyone wants to be heard, but no one is listening!
In this original musical comedy radio play, three very different personalities are battling for control of the station—and the audience. With a couple of sensible voices trying to keep the chaos under control, things are bound to get… interesting.
Who’s In Charge? is an original musical comedy radio play full of big personalities, small-town tensions, and plenty of laughs.
We are thrilled to welcome back Mt. Airy Home Companion, Mt. Airy’s resident theater troupe! We can’t wait for you to see this year’s original show and incredible cast.
BYO and Concessions.
Mount Airy Home Companion was created by the members of Saint Mad, a Northwest Philly band known for their musical skits and parodies. It's a homespun salute to the uniquely wonderful neighborhood of Mount Airy, with a nod to the iconic NPR radio show, Prairie Home Companion. Over the years, many talented neighbors have joined the show for their nearly-yearly presentations.
