About this Event
Dear Friends,
With full hearts, we invite you to a very special gathering.
Many of you know Jose Ortiz-Pagán as an artist and Ana Ramos as an impact investor. Over the past year, we have been building on our project Colectiva Clara to bring a new shared dream to life: , a space for nourishing mind, body, soul, and spirit.
A botánica is a traditional community shop. As author Joseph Murphy described, these are celestial storefronts rooted in Latin American and Caribbean cultures, offering herbs, teas, candles, and remedies for wellness and spiritual care.
At Mesa Blanca, this tradition meets a café. We bring together our own herbal blends, coffee, and a collection of handmade spiritual products: prayer candles and plant-based remedies rooted in our ancestral knowledge. In time, Mesa Blanca will also be a place where healers will tend to and care for others, a place for wisdom holders to share their knowledge and teach others.
Mesa Blanca isn't fully open yet, as we wait for construction permits, but our space at Jasper House is ready to welcome you before construction begins. Because this dream is new, we'd like you to meet it gently, over a cup of tea. We will have our products available for sale. For those who feel called, we will also share ways to contribute financially to help bring this space to life.
Join us for our first pop-up, an activation of our space.
Live music by DJ Renniasane.
Tea sampling and an introduction to our products.
A community energy limpia (traditional cleansing) for those who would like to participate.
