King Koala Press is setting off on a new European tour! Jim Saah, veteran punk rock photographer, will be coming to Berlin on 7 November to discuss his new book IN MY EYES at the Galerie Zeitzone. During the event, Jim will talk about the stories that have shaped the book, and copies of the book will be available along with a series of exclusive photos for sale.
Afterwards the party will continue with Mr. Cigarette Butt and his collection of rarities and hits , that will take you on a journey into the sounds of punk, not the one on the radios, but the one in smoky clubs and half-empty glasses around the world, from New York to London via Melbourne and many other.
"I remember being really struck by your pictures of Fugazi when I first saw them. I had seen plenty of other photos of us that were perfectly good representations, but your work often would look like the way I felt on stage."
/ Ian MacKaye (Fugazi, Minor Threat)
