Step inside Erba Social for a different kind of comedy night.
Jazz & Jokes brings together some of Vancouver’s funniest comedians with live jazz, vintage lounge style, and the intimate atmosphere of Erba Social.
Inspired by the classic lounge shows of the 1950s, the evening puts a modern spin on the format. Expect chandeliers, a red curtain, sharp comedy, live music, and a room designed for settling in and enjoying the entire show.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, comedy begins at 7:00 PM.
The first half flows through a curated lineup of shorter stand-up sets. A live jazz intermission follows courtesy of The Winston Barta Jazz Quartet, before the second half returns with extended performances and the evening’s closing acts.
No open mic. No filler. One curated show from start to finish.
THE COMEDY LINEUP
Ryan Williams
A veteran of the comedy circuit with more than a decade behind the microphone, Ryan's been featured on Just For Laughs and CBC's Debators. Ryan's known for his relatability and electric stage presence, he's sure to bring to the Erba stage. His album, Manual Labour of Love, is out now, and he recently taped a new special this April.
Andrew Grant
Comedian, computer scientist, and self-described “cunning linguist”, Andrew mixes sharp observations, curiosity, and wit into his stand-up sets. He is know by many not only for his stand-up, but for his popular short-form videos on Instagram Reels.
Niki Mohrdar
An East Vancouver comedy favourite and creator of the slumber party-inspired comedy show Pillow Talk, Niki has quickly established herself on Vancouver’s comedy scene. She's been featured on CBC and Just for laughs. She comes fresh off bringing her new show, Sanction Me, Daddy, to two Fringe performances earlier this September.
Jessica Pigeau
Also known online as sexylittlefatboy, Jessica is a comedian, writer, podcaster, and member of the popular sketch comedy crew Smashed Potato Kids. Her work spans live comedy, short films, Instagram, and TikTok.
Kendall Clark
An Indigenous comedian and winner of the Little Mountain Gallery comedy competition. Kendall brings fearless delivery, strong crowd energy, and comedy that knows exactly where the line is and likes getting close to it.
Eden Kaminski
The comedian behind the comedy/trivia/gameshow, The Giggly Puff Show, Eden is a delight to watch. She brings sharp and playful perspectives on gender, identity, and modern life to the stage.
LIVE JAZZ
The Winston Barta Quartet
Led by saxophonist Winston Barta, the quartet brings live jazz into the heart of the evening. Winston trained through the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and performs alongside a group of Vancouver jazz musicians.
Live music welcomes guests into the lounge and returns during intermission, connecting the entire evening through one continuous show.
