Gentlemen Hecklers: Plan 9 from Outer Space
Vancouver's Masters of Movie Riffing are back!
The legendary Gentlemen Hecklers return to the stage for their 14th anniversary! To celebrate, they're taking on the granddaddy of bad movies: Edward D. Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space!
Join Eric Fell, Gina Harms, and Patrick Maliha on Friday, September 25th as they provide hilarious, live commentary for one of the "best bad" movies ever made. "Plan 9" is widely considered one of the great classics of cheesy film, and it's made even better with help from The Gentlemen Hecklers.
From 2012 to 2022, The Gentlemen Hecklers were a staple of the Vancouver comedy scene performing a regular monthly show at The Rio Theatre, and were part of Just for Laughs Vancouver's "Best of the West" program several years in a row. In 2017, they were tapped to write for the Netflix Original Series "Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return." The episode they wrote for, "Cry Wilderness," is a fan favorite, and frequently cited as the best of the show's Saturn-Award nominated season.
And this September, they are very excited to bring their unique humor and rapid-fire wit to the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre.
