Track: Precarious Solidarities
Presented by Asian Arts Initiative
You are invited to a full screening of interdisciplinary artist Rami George’s from every river to every sea (2026), followed by a post-screening artist talk exploring what it means to archive mass mobilizations for Palestine and the artist’s experimentation with these images as a new artistic endeavor. Samantha Rise will join the artist for a conversation about the intersections of art and community organizing.
This special screening will feature the work’s full sound component, which will not be available during the exhibition’s regular screening hours.
About the facilitators
Rami George (b. 1989, USA) is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Lenapehoking in what is now called Philadelphia. They have exhibited and screened broadly and remain motivated by political struggles and fractured narratives.

Weaving folk, jazz, blues, and americana lineages with the black radical tradition, rise connects art and activism in performances and songs concerned with social justice, joy, and community.
