About this Event
This event is crucial. Honestly, it is the event worth clearing your schedule for. A room of CEOs and Senior Leaders getting together and simplifying the framework for accelerating racial equity in the youth sector is special. This is your invite.
On 23rd November, TRIUMPH, supported by the YPF Trust, UK Youth and the NYA will be holding our very first CEO and Senior Leaders’ summit. This event guarantees to create a space where challenges can be shared, vulnerabilities are welcomed and practical solutions are the only outcome we are focused on. Driving anti-racism and racial equity can often feel complex and like we are never getting it right… that changes today.
Let’s be real…
- Inequities exist in the sector and we all have a responsibility to make and sustain changes.
- This is a systemic issue and so systematic solutions are needed to tackle the problem. TRIUMPH is your partner and ready to guide you as you make commitments and take actions to ensure your organisation’s practice and operations are truly anti-racist and anti-oppressive.
- As leaders, you know the pressure and expectation often falls on you to make anti-racism and racial equity both active and visible to your stakeholders and in the sector, let’s ensure you can do it and sustain it.
What to expect:
On the day, we are going to guide you through a proven process to agree how inequities show up and are being upheld in our organisations and sector, then introduce a 4-step framework for sustaining systematic change. We will use a range of scenario-based games, case studies and prompts from film, tv and other entertainment to bring the learning and action planning to life!
Why is this important?
We need you to be ahead of the game and already having made the commitment. See, we have our annual conference on Friday 27th November (which we encourage you to attend) and attendees will be co-creating an action plan for their organisations to commit to anti-racism and racial equity. Therefore, it’s important for you as leaders to be ready to take the actions that your organisational and sector colleagues are keen to see become a reality.
