About this Event
Celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, with a mindful candle-painting workshop led by local artist Isher Dhiman. During this relaxed 90-minute session, you’ll decorate a pair of pillar candles, drawing inspiration from colour, pattern and the warmth of the season. Take home your creations to brighten your space or give as a thoughtful gift.
No experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Come along, slow down and enjoy some creative time in the beautiful surroundings of Burgh House.
About the artist: Isher Dhiman is a London-based mixed-media artist, educator and Mindfulness Through Art practitioner whose interdisciplinary practice brings together contemporary art, creative wellbeing and education. Her wider practice has included work and collaborations with organisations including Tate, Wellcome Collection, the Royal Academy of Arts, the National Gallery, Kew Gardens and The Line, alongside ongoing Mindfulness Through Art workshops across London most recently at Six Senses.
