Learn the basics of fused glass and spend 1.5 hours creating your own one-of-a-kind fall tree, Christmas Ornament, or your own custom design. *Additional bases and additional time add-ons available.In this beginner-friendly experience, you’ll learn about fused glass, the tools, how to cut glass, and simple techniques for layering and arranging to create your design on a clear 4x6 glass base.
You’ll use glass line paint, frit, stringers, and glue to create your tree and bring your own creative vision to life.
No grinding, or ring saw use—and no prior fused glass experience is needed. All materials and instruction are provided.
Your finished piece will be kiln-fired and ready to take home approximately 1–2 weeks later. Pick-up timing and details will be provided during the experience.
**IMPORTANT: Closed-toe shoes and safety glasses are required!** If you do not wear closed toed shoes you will need to reschedule your experience for a future time. No refunds given day of the event. Safety glasses will be provided. Feel free to bring your own if preferred.
Instruction will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes to check in
This is an adult class but teens ages 13 and up who are interested may participate. This class is not suitable for children under 12.
Adult beverages are allowed. BYOB and snacks. Water, Regular Beverages such as soda and water and packaged snacks are available for purchase. Feel free to bring your own beverages (wine & beer are welcome) and snacks. No food or open drinks allowed in the glass studio room but there is a special food and drink station outside the glass studio room if you want to bring something. Red's Wine Bar next door is also available for food and beverage service.
