About this Event
This free event will bring together colleagues, partners, commissioners, practitioners, and stakeholders to reflect on the impact of the service, share learning, and explore how evidence-based violence reduction approaches can support safer communities and custodial environments.
Over the past two years, the PVR Service has worked alongside prisons, community services, and individuals affected by violence to reduce harm, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and support positive behaviour change. The showcase will highlight key achievements, outcomes, and lessons learned from service delivery, while creating space for discussion about future opportunities and challenges. The service has supported safer environments through early intervention, mediation, trauma-informed practice, conflict resolution, and targeted engagement with those most at risk of violence.
The event will include:
- A review of the service journey and key achievements
- Reflections on operational successes and lessons learned
- Insight from practitioners and partners
- A lived experience panel featuring former service users sharing their personal journeys and perspectives
- Networking opportunities with colleagues and stakeholders across the sector
Whether you have been directly involved in the service or are interested in violence reduction, rehabilitation, and creating safer communities, we would be delighted to welcome you.
