About this Event
Our knitting club is back — and this time we're settling in alongside 留白 – Beyond Emptiness, a new exhibition by Hong Kong architect and artist Raymond Fung exploring the interplay between Chinese ink painting, architecture, and the natural environment.
留白 (liú bái) means "leaving blank" — the technique in traditional Chinese ink painting of allowing empty space to carry meaning. It feels like the perfect companion for a slow, meditative craft session. Come with your project, find a chair, and let the quiet of the gallery do its thing.
This is a social drop-in, not a class — no instruction, no fixed programme, just good company and needles clicking. And yes, the gallery is air-conditioned.
What to bring
- Your current knitting, crochet, or needlework project
- Your own needles, hooks, and yarn
Please note
No equipment or materials will be provided. All skill levels and textile crafts welcome.
