✨ BLITHE SPIRIT — CASTING CALLA Noël Coward Classic Directed by Karin Staflund
📅 Saturday 7 November ⏰ 9:30am – 2:00pm 📍 Roxy Lane Theatre, Maylands
Step into the shimmering world of Coward’s supernatural comedy, where wit crackles like neon, glamour glows like chrome, and spirits swirl with the elegance of a Deco ballroom.
We’re seeking performers ready to inhabit a world of crisp silhouettes, sharp dialogue, and the delightful chaos of a ghost who refuses to behave.
Think sleek lines, mirrored surfaces, cocktail hour sophistication, and a whisper of the uncanny drifting through a perfectly arranged drawing room. This production embraces the stylised theatricality of the 1940s: poised, polished, and wickedly playful.
Roles Available
• Charles Condomine — urbane, dry, effortlessly stylish (M Mid 40’s)
• Ruth Condomine — Charle’s wife, poised, precise, with steel beneath the satin (F Early 40’s)
• Elvira — Charle’s late wife, luminous, mischievous, a ghost with impeccable taste (F Late 20’s – Early 30’s)
• Madame Arcati — eccentric brilliance wrapped in Deco eccentricity (F Middle Aged)
• Dr & Mrs Bradman — social grace with a hint of bewilderment (M & F, Ages Flexible 40-50’s)
• Edith — the maid who moves at the speed of a factory conveyor belt (F Age Flexible – Young 20-30’s)
All experience levels welcome.
