So what are we actually assessing?THE CORE
So Much More Than Stability
A practical, hands-on day with Dr Jesper Dahl
Working with athletes, active patients or everyday movement challenges?
Explore how breathing, pelvic and hip function, and coordinated muscle activity fit together—and how to bring these considerations into your assessment and rehabilitation approach.
ASSESS. CONNECT. PUT IT INTO PRACTICE.
Breathing & the diaphragm - Explore breathing mechanics, ribcage movement and intra-abdominal pressure.
Pelvic stability & hip control - Practise assessments that examine support and control through different positions.
Muscular slings & movement patterns - Assess how muscles work together, beyond testing individual components.
Hands-on clinical tools - Explore joint mobilisation, myofascial techniques and rehabilitation progressions.
A clearer assessment sequence
Work through what to assess next—and how the findings guide your clinical reasoning.
SOT AND NON-SOT PRACTITIONERS
Explore ideas that can complement your existing chiropractic approach, with particular relevance to sports practice and active patients. For SOT practitioners, the day also expands on Category II assessment and management.
