Join Paul 'Piglet' Middleton, star of Channel 4's Steam Train Dairies as he discusses his first book - a collection of heartwarming stories from his incredible 30 years as custodian of the historic North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Running for 24 miles through some of Britain's most beautiful scenery, from Pickering up to Whitby, North Yorkshire Moors Railway is a stretch of gorgeous moorland that ‘Piglet’ is lucky to call home. A piece of Yorkshire like no other that, over the years, has led to a treasure trove of tales.
Paul has worked with them all, from engine royalty including The Flying Scotsman, The Mallard and The Hogwarts Express; acting royalty such as Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford; and has even made a few things happen for actual royalty - His Majesty King Charles III.
