Award-winning poet Zaffar Kunial comes to Whitby Lit Fest for a captivating celebration of language, identity and place.
Winner of Yale University’s prestigious Windham-Campbell Prize, Zaffar has established himself as one of the most distinctive and exciting voices in contemporary British poetry. His acclaimed debut collection, Us, was shortlisted for both the Costa Poetry Award and the T. S. Eliot Prize, while his latest collection, England’s Green, won the Ledbury Prize for Best Second Collection, was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize and named The Times Poetry Book of the Year 2022.
