About this Event
MFW UK × JKD Care Services — Inclusion Day
Modest Fashion Week UK has teamed up with JKD Care Services to present a special Inclusion Day dedicated to children, young people and their families — creating a welcoming space to enjoy, learn, connect and feel included.
Our aim is to bring families together while creating more awareness, understanding and opportunities for children and young people with SEND and additional needs.
Throughout the day, families can enjoy fun and engaging activities, shopping, delicious food and opportunities to meet other families, while parents and carers can connect with industry experts and SEND specialists and gain valuable knowledge and guidance.
Programme
Children’s Session | Ages 2–8🕥 10:30am – 12:30pm- A fun, welcoming session designed for younger children, with activities, entertainment and opportunities to explore and enjoy the day with their families.
Panel Discussion | 1:00pm – 1:45pm -Join our panel of industry experts and SEND specialists for an informative conversation around inclusion, support, opportunities and helping children and young people thrive. Parents and carers will also have the opportunity to gain knowledge and hear from professionals working within the sector.
Young People’s Session | Ages 9–16🕝 2:30pm – 4:30pm - An inclusive afternoon created for older children and young people to participate in activities, connect with others and enjoy an environment where individuality is welcomed and celebrated.
This is more than simply a day out. We want families to leave feeling welcomed, connected and better informed, while children and young people have a space where they can enjoy themselves and be celebrated for who they are. Enjoy an environment where individuality is welcomed and celebrated.
