‘SPOT ON’ is a one-day event showcasing the artistic practices and designs of friends and collaborators, offering insight into what they are currently working on.
‘SPOT ON’ carries a double meaning. In Danish, the phrase describes something precise or perfectly fitting, while also referring to placing something in the spotlight. With this event, the aim is to bring performers, artists, and designers into focus and give them space to present their work in its many forms.
At a time where mass production dominates and the value of art is increasingly overlooked, ‘SPOT ON’ seeks to create a platform for artistic expression, dialogue, and connection. The event invites artists to share not only what they create, but also the ideas, inspirations, and processes behind their practice.
Rather than defining what is “good” or “bad” art, ‘SPOT ON’ is about creating an open and supportive space where artists and audiences can meet, exchange perspectives, and engage more closely with contemporary creative work.
The bar will be open the whole day with cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments. Ko'ox will also be offering a selection of Latin American street food specialties.
