There will also be plenty of networking opportunities and interactive discussions throughout the day, an Information Zone with what other organisations are doing, and an optional firepit session on ethical and meaningful coproduction led by Gloucestershire Young Carers.

Following a sold-out debut in 2023, the Young Carers Futures Conference returns for its second year - bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever.

Taking place in London this October, the conference will bring together professionals from across the UK for a day focused on improving outcomes for young carers and young adult carers.

The conference is hosted by Carers Trust, the UK’s leading infrastructure charity for organisations supporting carers, and run by the Young Carers Alliance, a growing network of over 200 organisations and 1,000 individuals committed to transforming the lives of young carers.

This conference is designed for anyone working to support young carers, including young carer service practitioners, local authority staff, education professionals, researchers, academics, policy officials, and charities working with young carers.

The conference will focus on both practice and policy and it will be an opportunity to hear directly from young carers who will be involved in the planning and delivery. Whether you’re working on the front line or shaping strategy, this conference will provide fresh insights and practical tools to drive change in your work and beyond.

About the venue


This year’s Young Carers Futures Conference will be held at The Kia Oval. The venue offers excellent accessibility, located near two London Underground lines and major train services, in a bright, welcoming environment overlooking the world-famous Oval cricket ground.




Ticket prices

  • Tier 1: Carers Trust Network members, Young Carers Alliance and charities with an income under £500,000 - £125 + VAT
  • Tier 2: Schools, colleges and universities & charities with an income over £500,000 - £195 + VAT
  • Tier 3: Public sector and corporates - £295 + VAT
