About this Event
As a business leader it’s likely that pensions are one of the biggest employment costs that you face after Pay and National Insurance Contributions. But, are you getting any value for that spend or is it just a cost that has to be absorbed? Do your employees actually appreciate what you are doing for them?
This is a conundrum that we’re looking to solve at now:pensions as we develop our new workplace pension solution.
There are many well-documented problems for pension savers in the UK…
• Employees find pensions confusing and boring, and they can’t visualise themselves getting older.
• Chances are, they’ve been automatically enrolled into their employer’s workplace pension scheme with little knowledge of what this means for them.
• They’re not saving enough, don’t know how much they should save, and they don’t know what to do when they get a chance to enjoy what they have saved.
• They feel that it is the responsibility of their employer and the Government to provide for a sufficient standard of living in their old age.
So… what can we do to change this? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
We want to hear from you at this intimate roundtable about what you want from pension providers like us, and what your employees are saying to you about their own pensions.
At now:pensions we’ve been listening to members. As you’d expect, we’ve commissioned traditional methods of research such as focus groups and surveys. However, we’ve gone further by leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence to understand wider trends in media and public opinion.
We think that listening in this way has given us new insights that we just don’t get in any other way. We’d love to share with you at the event what we’ve discovered and what we propose to do to give members what they want when they want it.
And… this is one of those things that is never finished. So, we’d love to hear from you about what you think, and get your views on what we’ve been hearing. We’re under no illusion that we’re building the perfect pension but, with your help and our listening, we can get close.
And the payback to you - if they’re getting what they want – they’ll appreciate more what you’re doing for them.
