Join us on October 29, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time) at the New Haven Lawn Club for a special luncheon with Ray Fair, a fellow of the Econometric Society. Ray’s main research is in macroeconometrics, but he’s also done fascinating work in finance, voting behavior, and even how athletic performance declines with age. Since 1983, he’s been sharing quarterly updates and forecasts using his U.S. macroeconometric model, and since 1980, he’s provided quadrennial forecasts with his presidential vote-share equation.
