In this class we will cover traditional and modern uses of a number of wild spices. From cedar and sumac, to wild leeks and mushrooms, come taste and sample a variety of both wild and traditional spices, discuss any medicinal properties, and talk about prospective culinary uses. You will have the opportunity to create and take home 2 Wild Spice Blends for your own use.
Materials cost will be payed on day of class, with a rough estimate of $20-35 per person. Student in the class will be notified of the final cost at least 24 hours in advance. Please bring cash or a check to pay your instructor for the materials fee on the day of!
