We’re Losing the Light — Solo Exhibition Opening Night
We're Losing the Light is a visual meditation on the importance of finding light in dark times.
Based on images collected over 15 years and painted over the course of 2026, We're Losing the Light is a series of paintings exploring moments of transition, departure, and emotional threshold. Through the use of chiaroscuro and fading natural light, the works reflect on the fragility of the present moment and the wider state of the world. Solitary figures inhabit quiet spaces of travel and distance, suspended between endings and beginnings.
Liminal spaces captured in quiet often unsettling moments. As the light diminishes, the series becomes both a meditation on uncertainty and a reminder of the importance of seeking moments of joy within it.
