The Dundee Scottish Country Dancing Society host The Big Welcome Ceilidh.
Come along on Tuesday 15th September 2026 to experience traditional live music and dancing.
The James Coutts band will perform live and they will help those of you new to Ceilidhs to learn the steps. Originally the word ceilidh (kay-lee) descended from the Gaelic word for 'gathering' or 'party' so please join us to celebrate Welcome Week.
Dress code is casual, but if you have something tartan then why not show it off!
The ceilidh will take place in the Welcome marquee on Campus Green from 7pm - 9pm.
