Join us on September 26 from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus for Utsav Miami 2026, a vibrant, family friendly celebration of Indian culture in the heart of Downtown Miami. Utsav means celebration in Hindi, and this year’s festival places the rich diversity of Indian dance at center stage.
Experience the Dance Traditions of India
From classical forms rooted in centuries of tradition to colorful folk, regional, and contemporary styles, India’s dance traditions tell stories of history, faith, community, celebration, and place.
The centerpiece of Utsav Miami 2026 will be a live dance performance featuring performers representing dance traditions from across India. Audiences will experience the artistry, movement, costumes, music, and storytelling that make each form distinct.
We are also pleased to welcome Priya Alavadi as the keynote speaker and hostess for Utsav Miami 2026.
Priya is a South Florida based Indian American community advocate, corporate leader, speaker, and mother. She was recently crowned Mrs. Universe Elite Global 2026 and previously represented her community as Mrs. Bharat USA Elite 2022.
As part of the celebration, Priya will join MAIACA board members in welcoming Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and will address guests during the program.

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA)
The Miami DDA is an independent agency of the City of Miami funded by a special tax levy on properties within its district boundaries. The agency is governed by a 15-member board of directors, including three public appointees and 12 downtown property owners, business owners, and/or residents. The board sets policy direction, which is implemented by a multi-disciplinary team under the executive director's oversight.
Their mission is to grow, strengthen, and promote the economic health and vitality of Downtown Miami. As an autonomous agency of the City, the Miami DDA advocates, facilitates, plans, and executes business development, planning, capital improvements, and marketing and communication strategies.

Miaim Dade County Asian-American Advisory Board (AAAB)
Established on July 22nd, 1997, the Asian-American Advisory Board was created to work in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners, administration, community, and all agencies in Miami-Dade County, with respect to matters pertaining to the Asian-American community. In addition, the Board and its staff routinely assist people with their grievances and intervene with the appropriate parties to seek a resolution to issues the community faces.
Miami Dade College
Miami Dade College is among the most diverse institution in the nation. There are 167 nations and 63 languages represented in its student body. The College's eight campuses and multiple outreach centers offer more than 300 distinct degree pathways including associate and baccalaureate degrees, career certificates and apprenticeships. Baccalaureate degree offerings include biological sciences, engineering, data analytics, information systems technology, artificial intelligence (the first in Florida), education, public safety, supervision and management, nursing, physician assistant studies, film and others. By registering for and attending Utsav Miami hosted by Maiaca Inc. on September 26, 2026 at Miami Dade College – Wolfson Campus (12-4 PM), you agree to the following:
- You are participating voluntarily and accept all risks associated with the event, including activities, food, and vendor engagement.
- You release Maiaca Inc., Miami Dade College, and all associated staff, volunteers, vendors, and partners from any liability for injury, illness, property damage, or loss during or after the event.
- The event will be photographed and/or filmed. By attending, you consent to the use of your image (and any minors you bring) in promotional materials without compensation.
- Children are welcome but must be supervised by their parent or guardian at all times.
- You agree to follow venue rules and all posted guidelines at Miami Dade College.
