About this Event
The Thornbury Shop Hop
Wednesday, October 1, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Join The Blue Mountains Chamber for an evening of community, connection, and a little bit of adventure in the heart of beautiful Thornbury! Explore the shops and businesses in and around Bruce Street for some after-hours shopping, specials, treats, and a few surprises, and complete your Shop Hop Bingo Card for a chance to win great prizes.
How it works:
- 5:30-6pm - Register at Cranky Bear Cafe to pick up your map and bingo card
- 6pm-7:30pm - Explore Thornbury while discovering and supporting local businesses, enjoying treats and surprises, and completing your bingo card
- 7:30-8:30pm - Wrap up at The Corner Cafe and Grill with a well-earned cocktail and some fabulous prize draws
Why participate?
- Support and discover local businesses
- Network with fellow business leaders
- Enjoy a fun evening out in charming Thornbury
And some exciting news! You asked and we listened: this is a free event for current Chamber members, but we're also opening this one up so non-members can join the fun for a small fee. If you would like to invite a guest who isn't a current member of the BMCC, they can purchase a ticket for $20, which includes:
- A Shop Hop Bingo card and the chance to win great prizes if you complete the card
- Inclusion on the guest list for The Corner social hour from 7:30pm-8:30pm
- A complimentary drink ticket
- A complimentary raffle ticket for even more chances to win
We're excited to see some new faces, and to showcase what the Chamber does in the Blue Mountains community to a new audience.
Thank you to Sarah at Cranky Bear and Meredith at The Corner for being our start and end locations.
Presented with support from the Thornbury BIA, with our thanks.
