TBM All-Candidates Forum

Hosted by The Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce and Marsh Street Centre, the evening will provide voters with an opportunity to hear the candidates' priorities and perspectives specifically on economic development in The Town of The Blue Mountains. Discussion will focus on economic matters affecting local businesses and residents, including tourism, business attraction and retention, workforce development, housing, infrastructure, responsible growth, and the municipality’s role in supporting a strong and resilient local economy.

Time: 6PM – 8PM (Doors open at 5:30PM)
Location: Marsh Street Centre, 187 Marsh Street, Clarksburg

Moderators:

· Meredith Brown - Owner of The Corner Café & Grill and Brunchie Modern Diner

· Tim Newton - Manager of the Small Business Enterprise Centre of South Georgian Bay

This will be a moderated discussion, incorporating topics and questions that have been submitted in advance by the community. You are invited to submit your questions for consideration at registration checkout, or send them to [email protected]. Please note that while we will do our best to include as many questions as possible, there may not be time for all of them. Clarifying questions can be submitted in writing during the discussion to Chamber staff, who will pass them on to the moderators. The evening will conclude with a chance to mingle and talk with the candidates one-on-one.

The forum hosts and moderators are committed to hosting a fair, respectful, and non-partisan discussion. All registered candidates have been invited to participate. Questions will be developed by The Blue Mountains Chamber in consultation with members of the local business community.
