The Texpats are a Nashville-based trio featuring Grace Pettis (Austin), Natalie Price (Fort Worth), and Rachel Laven (San Antonio) – three acclaimed singer-songwriters who each built heir careers in Texas before finding themselves under the same roof in Nashville.
What started as late-night song swaps and co-writing sessions at their shared home (the “Texpat Haus”) has grown into a full-fledged collaboration. Bonded by parallel life transitions, including heartbreak, reinvention, and relocation, the trio discovered a natural chemistry that shines through in their seamless three-part harmonies and deeply personal storytelling.
Each member brings a distinct voice: Pettis’s award-winning, soul-inflected Americana; Price’s emotionally rich “Ameri-kinda” blend of indie folk rock and melodic pop; and Laven’s clear-eyed, economical songwriting rooted in the Texas tradition. Together, they perform original songs, reinterpret each other’s catalogs, and weave in Texas classics, creating a show that feels both deeply intimate and electrifyingly alive.
With over 35 collective years of touring experience, both solo and alongside each other, The Texpats deliver a rare kind of musical conversation: one built on trust, history, and the kind of friendship that turns shared stories into something bigger than the sum of its parts.
