About this Event
THE SHOWING: Art, Performance, and the Spaces In Between
Sunday, October 18, I'm bringing THE SHOWING to OBJX Studio, a curated gallery-style afternoon celebrating independent women artists, makers, designers, and creative businesses. This isn't a trade show. It's a five-part journey built around one idea: art and connection belong in the same room.
What to Expect
The Arrival: Step into the gallery with a mocktail in hand and take in work from independent women artists across wearable art, fine art, literature, scent, food, and wellness.
The Voice: Live spoken word and performance, including a reading by Sharon Graham, author of "How Many Bras Do I Need to Fit Into? (Lift; Separate; Become)."
The Lens: Three women's short films, curated by Access Threshold (AXT).
The Connection: Direct time with the artists and makers behind the work, no glass case between you and the story.
The Acquisition: A final gallery walk built for buying, because every piece here is meant to go home with someone.
