One last Friday in the basement. The Recently Deceived are heading back to Nivara Lounge on Friday 27 November to celebrate the release of Pull the Pin - our first new single since 2020 - and, as it turns out, help send off Nivara’s final Friday before the venue closes.
There’s a mildly ridiculous amount of history in this one. We launched Use Your Head at Nivara almost exactly ten years ago, back when we were younger, probably more organised, and apparently capable of releasing music more than once every six years.
Joining us for the night:
The Vile Maxim
Sons of Khyber
Thief ’n Zard
Pull the Pin has been road-tested live for years and is finally getting a proper studio release. Expect loud guitars, melodic punk, questionable stage banter, and at least four people attempting gang vocals.
Friday 27 November 2026
Nivara Lounge — Basement, 266 Victoria Street, Hamilton
R18
Doors / start time: TBC
Entry: TBC
This is Nivara’s final Friday before closing, so come downstairs, make some noise, and help us give the place the kind of send-off it deserves.
More release details soon.
