What you can drop off:
• batteries
• e-waste:
- tvs
- computers and laptops
- mobile phones and tablets
- cables
- keyboards, mice, and other peripherals
- small electronics (e.g. cameras, game consoles)
- small household appliances (e.g. microwaves, blenders)
- old vapes and e-cigarettes
• scrap metal
• plastic and metal lids (separated)
• paper and cardboard
• tins and cans (rinsed)
• plastics 1,2 and 5 (rinsed).
Please separate your items into the groups listed above before you arrive, and remember to rinse tins, cans and plastics 1, 2 and 5.
What you can’t drop off:
• large appliances (e.g. refrigerators, washing machines, dryers)
• hazardous materials (e.g. chemicals, paint)
• furniture
• household waste
• large amounts of waste (e.g. in commercial volumes)
• glass.

If you have household items that are still usable, consider donating them to the Habitat for Humanity ReUse Store: https://www.habitat.org.nz/op-shops/lincoln-st
