In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the City of Houston and Going Out Divine present The Power Awards: A Domestic Violence Awareness & Recognition Ceremony.
The Power Awards brings together survivors, advocates, community leaders, organizations, and supporters for an evening dedicated to honoring courage, recognizing impact, and raising awareness around domestic violence.
The ceremony will honor survivors who have found the strength to move forward, remember the lives of those lost to domestic violence, and recognize the individuals and organizations whose work continues to support survivors, strengthen prevention efforts, and create meaningful change throughout our communities.
Guests will experience an evening of recognition, reflection, and connection, including special remarks, award presentations, survivor recognition, remembrance, and community resources.
