Domestic violence can happen in any relationship, but the experiences of LGBTQIA+ survivors are too often overlooked.Join Pride Houston® 365 for Purple Thursday, an honest community conversation about domestic violence and intimate partner violence, the barriers survivors face, how to recognize abuse, where to find help, and how we can better support the people we care about.
This will be a guided conversation, not a formal panel of speeches. We’re bringing together people with lived experience and professionals working directly in advocacy, LGBTQ+ support, mental health, and legal protections.
The conversation will move through: Recognize It → Understand It → Get Help → Support Someone → Take Action
Moderated by Kevin D. Anderson, Founder/CEO of The T.R.U.T.H. Project.

The evening will also include community resource organizations onsite, an anonymous question box, and opportunities to connect directly with support and services.
